Expand Health is looking for a Phlebotomist in order to perform blood draws for our laboratory testing and be able to set up vitamin drips in order to help support the health and wellness of our patients.

**Purpose of the Job**
- To collect blood specimens by means of venepuncture for medical pathology analysis;
- To conduct patient health assessments and screening, i.e., glucose & blood pressure & blood oxygen;
- To provide quality customer service to patients/clients, within the legal-ethical framework of the nursing profession in a phlebotomy environment.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 Matriculation Certificate
- Certificate: Phlebotomy techniques
- HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field
- Previous phlebotomy experience would be an added advantage
- Computer Literate
- The working hours weekly and may include weekends (as needed)
- A code 8 driver’s licence

**Duties & Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure that Phlebotomy procedures are undertaken professionally according to Standard Operating Procedures and in line with Quality Assurance procedures
- Perform phlebotomy related administrative tasks to ensure correct recording and processing of information
- Ensure Health & Safety standards are upheld
- Maintain good client relations to promote the image of the practice

- Independently handle administration duties
