Admin/finance Assistant

We have an opportunity for an Admin/Finance Assistant to be responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly management of the accounting functions of IQ Insights on Sage and related software packages, to always ensure that tasks are completed on schedule and to the best of their ability.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- General accounts

**Debtors**
**and Debtors control**:

- Liase with account managers to collate correct information for Debtors invoicing monthly
- Ensure all invoices are issued correctly to clients and liase with customers on invoices and payments thereof.
- Request purchase orders, client details and remittance advices where required and receipt monthly debtor’s payments on Sage.
- Issuing of client statements
- Debt collection where necessary.

**Creditors and payments/banking**:

- Issue purchase orders and purchase invoices on Sage for Creditors invoices and payment thereof.
- Maintain accurate records of creditors purchases and entry on Sage.
- Maintain accurate records on Teams for Accounts Payables
- Weekly payments authorisations received from account managers and or directors for supplier payments.
- Loading weekly creditors payments on FNB.

**Credit Cards**:

- Collating, loading and reconciling company credit cards on Sage.

**Other**:

- Assisting with general accounts and administration tasks within reason i.e., collating sms costs and breakdowns
- Clear and timeous communication to your line manager.

- Ad-hoc requests as and when applicable

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1 years’ work experience (Admin / Accounts)
- Market research experience advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft and Office tools; specifically, MS Teams, MS Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles to Trial Balance
