**A Lecturer (Independent Contractor) vacancy exists at the Waterfall campus in the School of Management the following qualification for the first semester of the 2023 academic year**:

- Qualification à IIE Bachelor of Commerce

**Competencies required**:

- Effective Classroom Management
- Open to Development

**Minimum Qualification Requirements**:
**Ideal**:
***
- Honours in Financial Accounting or Management

**Alternatively**:

- Honours in one of the Business related fields (e.g. accounting, financial management, economics, entrepreneurship, risk, supply chain or project management) - with Accounting or Financial Management to the third year level
- A Bachelor degree with Accounting or Financial Management or a similarly related field (e.g. asset management, entrepreneurship, risk, supply chain or project management) to the third year level PLUS either an MBA or a postgraduate diploma in business or education

**Minimum Work Experience Requirements**:

- Lecturing experience in financial management/ financial accounting/asset management
Work experience as an accountant, financial advisor, or asset manager.

**Working Conditions**:

- Availability to lecture part-time during the week, between 8:00am - 5:30pm (on campus)
- Deliver module content as prescribed in Module Outline
- Provide a student support function through consultations, where necessary
- Grade all assessments for assigned classes
- Preference will be given to South African Citizens and Permanent Residents of South Africa in possession of proof of permanent resident status
- Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role
