Reservations Consultant

Qualification in Tourism or Hospitality (advantageous)
- **5 years’ experience as a Hotel Reservations Consultant **_or in similar role - _**5* Game Lodges**_
- Build trust, rapport and credibility with clients, guests and key accounts from the outset.
- Respond to enquiries & make reservations accurately & efficiently ensuring all relevant information is captured professionally.
- Follow up on provisional reservations, process cancellations & amendments according to MFC protocol.
- Maintain reservation records in the MFC reservations system, monitoring arrival details.
- Ensure proper booking information is recorded & efficiently communicated for each reservation according to the properties’ requirements.
- Maintain a professional, service orientated presence with Agents.
- Book third party services relevant to bookings, including transport and activities.
- Receive timeous payments for all reservations and advise finance of payments received.
- Resolving any guest complaints timeously.
- Any other ad hoc tasks or trips as required by manager.
- Be the brand ambassador in your dealings, living the Purpose & Values.

REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Grade 12 (essential)
- Qualification in Tourism or Hospitality (advantageous)
- 3-5 years’ experience as a Reservations Consultant or in similar role (essential)
- Excellent grasp of the English language & communication skills.
- PANstrat/Opera Cloud
- MS Office Suite

Salary R 24 000 - Company benefits
