**Role Summary**:

**Duration**: Full-time

**Purpose**: The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient management of logistics services, with a primary focus on ensuring the timely availability and delivery of commodities to meet customer requirements. This role involves regular follow-up actions between supplier and customer to achieve parts availability goals aligned with customer expectations, supporting business operations for smooth planning and execution, and creating realistic delivery plans considering lead times and operational capacities. The Logistics Manager ensures compliance with safety, security, and logistic regulations while aligning customer needs with internal processes to provide quality customer service. Additionally, adherence to the integrated system framework and governance policies is a key aspect of the role, contributing to the overall objective of achieving sales targets through effective logistics management.

**Responsibilities**:
**Service Delivery and Customer Relations**:

- Manage end-to-end delivery processes and generate delivery notes through appropriate systems.
- Communicate and escalate technical issues.
- Regular communication and follow up with service providers to ensure delivery expectations are met.
- Regular communication with customers (end-users) on ETA and Lead times.

**Supply Chain Oversight**:

- Manage annual stock count to ensure accuracy and optimal stock levels.
- Conduct logístical analysis to identify efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities.

**Procurement and Communication**:

- Collaborate with Sourcing Specialist to procure transportation services with a focus on improving supplier performance in quality, cost, and delivery.
- Communicate and align with sourcing specialists to meet operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance of purchase requisitions with procurement processes and communicate discrepancies.

**Inventory Management**:

- Monitor inventory levels and balances on critical spares with suppliers.
- Reduce inventory by 10% on a month-to-month basis on blanket orders.

**Logistical Analysis**:

- Maximise transport savings by adding courier companies to the database.
- Establish and analyse the freight budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree/Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management and CommercialCode 08 driver’s license
- 2 - 3 years of driving experience
- Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Zoho CRM.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), with MS Project as an advantage.
