An exciting career opportunity to join a well-established civil construction group in Gauteng as Tender Buyer working in the challenging tender department.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Organise collection of tender documents
- Scanning and copying tender documents and compiling tender files for pricing
- Reading tender documents and establishing, compiling requirements for submission
- Liaise with other departments and organise submission documents
- Receive and acknowledge addenda
- Read addenda and update tender document as required
- Set up and maintain tender spreadsheet and records
- Set up bookings for boardroom for tender finalisation
- Write up tender back pages and BOQ
- Compile submission documents and annexure files
- Liaising with suppliers and negotiating best prices to include in tender documenation

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Matric with Mathematics
- At least 5 years’ experience in construction industry
- Own vehicle
- Valid drivers’ license
- Must be able to work after normal hours on short notice as and when required
- Neat handwriting
- Numerate
- Strong knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to read and understand tender documents and submission requirements
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisation and communication skills
- Time management
- Ability to work without supervision
