Factory Manager

1. Product design development (including sabs products)

2. Strategic planning and implementation of best practices in the factory

3. Allocating and maximising operating efficiency of both workforce and machinery

4. Creating and maintaining process flow in each department as per ISO 9001:2015 standards

5. Pattern designing & grading

6. Develop costings

7. Preparing purchase requisitions for factory production requirements & spares

8. Create technical drawings & tech packs

9. Preparing samples based on customer requirements1. Running production floor to achieve daily production targets

2. Quality control

3. Planning & implementation of development strategies

4. Production planning & factory order creation

5. Communicating order status from the factory time to time based on the lead times

6. Review performance data

7. Delegating duties to staff

8. Formulate policies and procedures for each department

9. Factory hr (employee records, performance, leaves and so on)

10. Mange and planning production

11. Co-ordinate financial and budgetary activities for maximum operational efficiency

12. Manage cost, minimise rework and overtime

13. Facilitate the preparation and analysis of daily, weekly, and monthly reports

14. Prepare and present reports to senior management

15. Production analysis

16. Employee performance analysis

17. Hiring, training & support for factory staff

18. Working together with warehouse in completing the orders on-time

19. Identifying downtime or quality issues

20. Problem solving

21. Interview and train new staff

22. Monitoring employee performance to achieve daily production targets

23. Approval of purchase requisitions, manging purchases, and supplier invoices

24. Manage and coordinate late delivery report and update sales/ production facilities on crucial information and deadline changes

25. Performance management of staff in order to achieve strategic objectives

26. Escalate any financial impact to the company

27. Implement and monitor lean initiatives

28. Communicating organisational goals and objectives with internal departments

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sunderland Ridge, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- factory manager: 1 year (preferred)
