Forklift Operator

**Summary**:

- Responsible for the operating of powered machinery, to load and off - load material, deliveries and move the material to and from storage areas.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Conduct pre - inspection checklist of machinery before operating.
- Safe handling and storage of materials.
- To ensure the correct material and quantities are verified prior to loading.
- To ensure the maintenance and presentation is in accordance to the pre - inspection checklist.
- Handover inspection to be completed with the operational controller, at the end of each shift.
- Must be able to perform other duties, on an ad - hoc basis pertaining to operational requirements.

**Skills Required**:

- Warehouse experience (advantageous)
- Forklift Licence
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
- Grade10
- Numeracy Skills
- Good understanding of warehouse processes
- Must be able to multi - task
- Time Management

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Randburg (Johannesburg), Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Administrative office procedures, practices and equipment: 1 year (preferred)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From R7,658.00 per month
