Technical Solution Architect

My Client in the the in the insurance industry require a technical Solution Architect to be part of a project where we would be reviewing 7 Fund administration systems, and then needing to select the most appropriate one, do a high-level technical design and create a business case for moving to this system.

The Key roles the Solution Architect is playing on the project includes:

- Participate in setting the vision for the consolidation
- Work with the Cloud Architect and the Business Process Analysts to develop the assessment reports of the 7 systems and taking accountability for documenting the technical architecture of the 7 systems (including their interfaces).
- Reviewing the User Requirements Specification for the new system
- Review the Mapped & Optimised processes
- Create a high-level technical design for the consolidated system
- Give inputs into the support requirements that would be needed
- Give inputs for the technical tasks in the implementation plan
- Participate in creating the Business Case - give inputs based on the technical design.

Generic Role for a Technical Solution Architect
- Lead and share best practice and design thinking for aspects of Digital Architecture, including the infrastructure, security, shared services, deployed hosting, data, and information architecture.
- Identifying and mitigating Technology, Commercial and Delivery risks in proposed solutions.

Technical Competencies
- Understanding a broad range of technologies (Including but not limited to Azure, AWS, Cloud Platforms, range of databases, API Management )
- Have experience in architecting solutions or evaluating solution for technical applicability.
- Knowledge of Fund Administration systems would be an advantage, or experience in financial insurance companies will be advantageous.
- Knowledge and experience in Digital Architecture

**Job Type**: Contract

**Salary**: R600.00 - R700.00 per month
