Our client in Worcester is in need of a Fitter to join their team.

**Duties**:
Operate biogas/waste-water plant by:

- Monitoring SCADA system and optimizing process by adjusting set-points.
- Do basic, periodic lab tests on effluent.
- Capture performance/production data on MS Excel and periodically communicate this info to management.
- Conduct site walks and observe whether equipment is performing optimally.
- Fitter duties:

- Attend to all mechanical breakdowns:

- Stripping pumps, identifying problems, and replacing necessary parts (impellers, sleeves, mechanical seals, bearings, pins, bushes etc.)
- Repairing cracked welding (Must be proficient in MIG, TIG, and stick welding)
- Building/installing support structures for pipes.
- Installing/welding new pipe sections (Stainless steel and mild steel.)
- Installing/repairing conveyor chains, and maintenance of accompanying bearings etc.
- Installing of/ Fault finding on gearboxes.
- Installing/Maintenance on pneumatic control valves/ shut-off valves.
- Proficiency with general workshop tools/powertools.
