Electrical supervisor required to supervise a team of electricians to ensure the safe and efficient execution of electrical projects, installations, and maintenance tasks. The supervisor requires expertise in electrical systems, codes and safety regulations to manage resources and schedules effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

- Knowledge and guidance on safe working procedures relating to electrical equipment
- training and mentoring staff
- troubleshooting issues
- ensuring adherence to quality standards.

**Duties**:

- **Project planning and execution**: Plan, schedule and implement electrical projects from inception to completion. This includes determining project requirements, setting deadlines.
- **Electrician and technician supervision**: Manage and oversee electricians and electrical technicians to ensure accurate, safe and on-schedule task completion. This includes assigning tasks, monitoring progress, providing guidance and addressing issues or concerns.
- **Safety compliance and risk management**: Ensures all work complies with safety regulations and company policies. This involves conducting regular safety inspections, identifying potential hazards, implementing safety procedures and training staff.
- **Quality control**: Maintain the quality of electrical work by conducting regular inspections. This helps them ensure installations and repairs meet industry standards and client specifications and troubleshoot any issues that occur.
- **Maintenance and repair**: Oversees routine and preventive maintenance tasks and electrical system and equipment repairs. Identify and resolve problems quickly to minimise downtime, and disruption.
- **Documentation and record keeping**: Maintain accurate records of all electrical work, including blueprints, schematics, maintenance logs and inspection reports. This documentation is helpful for future reference, troubleshooting and compliance.
- **Communication and collaboration**: Maintains open lines of communication with team members, clients and management to ensure that projects run smoothly, and meet expectations, also collaborate with other departments and contractors as needed.
