We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Digital Design Intern to join our marketing team in Woodstock, Cape Town. This position provides a unique opportunity for an aspiring digital designer to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced ecommerce environment. As a Digital Design Intern, you will collaborate with our team to create visually stunning and user-friendly digital assets that resonate with our audience and elevate our brand presence.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our brand identity, ensuring consistency across various digital touchpoints.
- Help produce engaging visual content, including infographics and videos, to communicate complex ideas in a visually appealing manner.
- Collaborate to ensure continuity of delivery within agreed time frames
- Work with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and execute innovative design ideas that align with marketing and business objectives.

**SKILLS & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES**
- Understanding of web standards, current design trends, and social media content design
- Ability to understand brand identity and translate the brand message accordingly
- Knowledge and understanding of marketing concepts as applied to the web
- Good knowledge of typography
- Self-starter with a high degree of decision-making ability
- Works well under pressure and sticks to tight deadlines - able to effectively deal with stress
- Must be a team player, fully committed to the teams success
- Effective communicator at all levels
- Good presentation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Creative thinker and problem solver
- Strong business acumen
- Fast learner

**EXPERIENCE**
- A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Proficient in the use of standard design software - Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and Canva
