Broker Support Clerk

We are looking for an individual who has excellent communication and time management skills. You will be working for a company that is over 100 years old with strong values, which are customer centric.
**Appointment of Brokers, Broker Area managers, Broker consultants & Group scheme consultant**
- Process any outstanding requirements and facilitate background checks.
- Finalize contracting within the department turnaround times.
- Reconcile broker codes on the system to ensure codes are allocated correctly
- Facilitate record keeping of all documentation and correspondence of the broker
**Maintain Broker contracts**
- Evaluate and process request to broker contracts
- Compile an addendum and send for authorization
- Send approved addendum to the broker for signature.
- Received signed addendum and effect changes on the system.
- Communicate any broker changes to all the stakeholders to effect changes
- File all documentation in broker file once all amendment is finalised
- Facilitate monthly broker license status and conditions validations to ensure legislative compliance
- Generate termination, suspension letters to brokers not meeting the required standards
- Administer and maintain broker debits
- Ensure that all broker investigations are recorded and reported to brokers management
**Compliance**
- Facilitate the annual personal service provider status verification of contracted brokers to ensure compliance with tax legislation
- Facilitation of BBB-EE
**Investigation**
- Receive broker investigation request from business stakeholders new business and complaints department
- Scrutinize monthly complaints report for all brokers with high number of complaints to imitate investigation
- Request the broker issued business report and scrutinized for any alarming patterns that propels for investigation
- Compile and refer the preliminary investigation report to forensic department for an in depth investigation broker investigation where necessary
- Issue the suspension of broker code to a broker
- Communicate the memorandum of finding s to the affected broker and diarize for seven days broker feedback
- Review and refer the broker feedback on findings detected for forensic department for final review
- Communicate the forensic final report to the broker and broker consultant
- Refer the final forensic report to the fit and proper committee for review where the section 153 debarments of the FAIS act is recommended for a broker
- Issue the termination of service letter to the affected broker upon receiving directive to terminate from the fit and proper committee
- Update the database and applicable system for all the brokers under investigation and the applicable investigation status as and when action is taken for broker investigation
**General Administration**
- Provide administration support to brokers, external broker, call centers, Group schemes and branches
- Identify and report any system problems to ensure continuity
- Assist in system testing from time to time and provide detailed report on scenarios tested
- Assist in department function in case of team member absenteeism
- Assist branches with enquiries
- Grade 12
- RE1/RE5 will be a strong advantage
- 2 - 3 years in insurance administration
