Global Leading Light Initiatives (GLLI), a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting STEM education and environmental sustainability, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic young graduate to join our team as an Entry-Level RecycleBot Project Coordinator. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to gain valuable experience in project coordination while making a meaningful impact in the community.

**Responsibilities**
- **Project Support**:Assist in coordinating and supporting all activities related to the RecycleBot Project, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- **Curriculum Assistance**:Collaborate with management and partners to assist in the development of curriculum materials for teaching robotics and environmental concepts using recyclable materials.
- **Training Participation**:Participate in training sessions for teachers, STEM Educator Assistants, and other stakeholders involved in the project to support effective implementation of the curriculum.
- **Resource Assistance**:Assist in identifying and requesting necessary resources and materials for the project, including robotics kits, recyclable materials, and educational resources.
- **Community Engagement**:Support efforts to establish and maintain relationships with Department of Education, schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote the project and encourage participation.
- **Support and Supervision**:Provide support and supervision to STEM Educator Assistants involved in implementing the RecycleBot Project. This includes:

- Training and onboarding STEM Educator Assistants
- Providing guidance and support to STEM Educator Assistants during project activities
- Conducting regular check-ins and performance evaluations of STEM Educator Assistants
- Addressing any issues or challenges that arise during the implementation of the project
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Assist in monitoring and evaluating the project's progress and impact, including data collection, analysis, and report preparation.
- Administrative Tasks: Provide administrative support as needed, including maintaining project documentation, tracking expenses, and scheduling meetings.

Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: R6 500,00 - R10 500,00 per month

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Port Alfred, Eastern Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
