**The appointee should**:
- Have **NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate for Adults)**:
- Have **Onsetter Certificate (3 months)**:
- Have **Winding Engine Driver Certificate (1 Year)**:
- At least **5 years experience in a related role**.
- Have Relevant experience in employee development
- Possess relevant mine-wide and training experience
- Possess well developed leadership, interpersonal, managerial and organizational skills
- Have Excellent consulting / facilitation and English communication skills
- Have Sound **knowledge of Winding Engine Drivers and Onsetter's operations**:
- Have Computer literacy and knowledge of information systems
- Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Occupational Health Centre.

- ** Practical understanding of SAQA, QTCO, NAMB, MQA, DMRE and SSA training policies, procedures and systems**
**Key responsibilities**:
- Implement and facilitate Technical Training, materials, practices, methodology and procedures to the improve competency levels within the organisation
- Implement QCTO/NAMB, SETA and QMS (ISO9001:2015) accreditation to ensure compliance
- Compile Technical Training Learners Progress Reports (daily, weekly and monthly)
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and externally at all levels and cross functionally.
- Ensuring open communication channels with all relevant stakeholders.
- Sourcing, contracting and negotiating with service providers.
- Liaising with the necessary entities on any environmental management related requirements and alignment where applicable.
- Collaborating with external service providers regarding the design and implementation of tools to enhance processes.
- Leading and driving cost saving and cash conservation initiatives.
- Remaining competitive on the global cost curve for all operations.
- Assist with cost saving initiatives to reduce operational costs
- Actively support and meaningfully participate in the execution of the segment specific organisational development plan. This support will manifest in the targeted shift in culture as described by a valid culture assessment.
- Align to international responsible mining principles.
- SA Gold Operations: Align to World Gold Council (WGC)
- Responsible Gold Mining Principles (RGMPs).
- SA PGM Operations: Enhance Together for Sustainability (eTfS)initiative.
- US PGM Operations: Enhance together for ICCM principles.
- Ensure adherence and compliance with legal requirements to support organisation's code of conduct, corporate governance and ethics guidelines
**SHE Management**:
- Instil a culture of SHE leadership within the department.
- Adhere to SHE principles within the Technical Training (Engineering) in line with Unit objectives to monitor compliance to
- Operational Health and Safety requirements.
- Facilitate risk assessments and take appropriate action to eliminate/mitigate risk exposures
- Maintain and comply with SHE standards within the work environment.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
**Quality Management System (QMS)**:
- Comply with requirements of the Quality Management System.
- Implement documentation and systems within the Quality
- Management System (QMS) to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Focus on safety and health as well as operational excellence
- Improve our position on global industry cost curve
- Provide coaching and on-the-job training to reporting staff.
- Manage performance and development of reporting staff.
- Ensure fair work allocation for team members.
- Inspire team members towards high performance.
