Maintenance Supervisor

Small 5* Lodge close to Hoedspruit is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to be responsible for supervising the day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring that all facilities, grounds, vehicles, equipment and systems are in good working order and in cosmetically perfect condition.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a small team consisting of one junior maintenance technician and one groundskeeper, as well as overseeing the performance and work executed by any third-party contractors.

Due to the size of the small team it is also expected that the applicant will undertake any and all maintenance roles/tasks were necessary, and any driving duties where they are required, including anything from guest transfers to material collection.

**Requirements**:

- At least 3 years’ experience in a related role
- Some form of trade certificate preferred.
- Supervisory experience is beneficial.
- Valid Driver’s License (PDP beneficial)

Knowledge of:

- Pools, Jacuzzis, and chemical treatments
- Pumps (pool; water booster; borehole)
- All aspects of plumbing maintenance
- Power generation and distribution
- Electrical fault finding and repair
- Mechanical maintenance
- Building and carpentry
- Air Conditioning Systems
- Garden and groundskeeping
