Our client is looking for a Logistics Manager to join their team and oversee the efficient and cost-effective management of their supply chain and logistics operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement strategies to streamline the supply chain, including sourcing, procurement, and inventory management.
- Plan and optimize the distribution network to ensure timely delivery of products to customers while minimizing transportation costs.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring that stock levels are maintained at optimal levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
- Coordinate and optimize transportation routes and carriers to reduce shipping costs and improve delivery times.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including storage, picking, packing, and shipping, while maintaining safety and efficiency.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
- Monitor and control logistics expenses, finding ways to reduce costs while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards, including safety, environmental, and import/export regulations.
- Manage and lead a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve departmental goals.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

**Qualifications**:

- A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management roles, with a progressive increase in responsibilities and previous leadership experience.
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM). A plus but not a must.
