**_ Position Purpose:_**

To manage, co-ordinate and control TFR investigations within corridors and to function in accordance with TFR strategic

plans in the respective corridors and to consult on Provincial Levels with various internal and external role players to

proactively implement corrective, investigative and strategic measures to protect TFR assets and to prevent potential TFR

losses through criminal activities and to implement Provincial security policies, procedures and programs throughout the

assigned province and to ensure compliance for RSR Audits.

**_ Position outputs:_**

1.Ensures case flow management of all incidents, crime status and correct reporting codes of incidents at SAP Stations eg:
CMAA, POCA or CPA status and Information, data base on suspects and case management is updated on the Investigation

App / TOMS / Share Drive / Docket

2.Liaison and engagement with NPA at Court to ensure cases are opened under the correct Act with all necessary

statements and evidence, to ensure that bail is opposed and that convictions received are in line with the Act.

3.Liaison and evaluate and determine which cases need to be opened under the Criminal Matters Amendment Act or

Criminal Procedures Act and engagement with SAPS Detectives on relevant cases to ensure dockets are court ready with

impact statements, identification statements and photo’s albums.
4.Collaborate with other Public companies and State Owned Enterprises, such as ESKOM,TELCOM and SAPS, to

coordinate and facilitate investigation and information for linkages on other cases and modus operandi.

5.Develops implements and manages policies, procedures, standards and methods for identifying and protecting intellectual

property assets, employees, property, facilities, operations, theft, vandalism, espionage, sabotage or loss.

6.Provide sound investigation leadership in managing critical incidents in the region and provide input to the regional Senior

Management team in crisis management situations and reviews of critical incidents and provide investigative advice and

support to the regional leaders and the regional team on recommendations, security issues and their possible impact to the

regions’ strategies and operational plans and programmes.
7.Compile, monitor and manage the annual operating budget for the department/region to ensure that costs are maintained

within the agreed limits and expenditure is in line with the approved business plan and investigation targets and manage all

assets and vehicles allocated to the department to ensure proper utilisation and adherence to good corporate governance

and company vehicle policy.

8.Oversees the on-going performance management and training & development of staff in order to ensure they meet their

performance objectives as per agreements and promote the talent management needs of individuals and the company.

**_ Qualifications & Experience:_**
- Degree in Security Management, Security Risk Management, Policing, Forensic Investigation or Criminology with a

minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a security and/ or crime prevention and investigation environment of which at least
two (2) years‘must have been in a supervisory role

Investigation or Criminology qualification must have 8 years’ experience in the security and/ or crime prevention and
investigation environment of which 4 years’ experience must have been in a supervisory role
- The applicant must be in possession of a Code B Driver’s Licence and be competent and prepared to drive such a vehicle
- Registration with PSIRA will be an added advantage (the successful applicant must obtain PSIRA grade A within 3 months

after appointment)
