Logistics Controller

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Individual will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective movement of materials, equipment, and products throughout the mining operations.
- Monitor the safe loading of cargo onto the truck in port.
- Monitor the unpacking of containers in the warehouse and evaluate their efficiency within the confirmed period.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and internal departments, to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Monitor and track shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivery schedules.
- Implement safety and security protocols to protect personnel, equipment, and materials during transportation and storage.
- Travel to Mines
- Collect samples of material for testing
- May need to work early mornings or late afternoons (availability)

**Knowledge/Skills & Experience**:

- Grade 12
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in the mining industry.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Computer Literacy: MS Office
- Fluent in both English and Afrikaans (Speak, Read and Write)
- Willing to travel to Mines for extended periods of time
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.

**Salary**: R15 000.00 - R20 000.00 CTC Per Month
