Senior Registered Nurse

**POSITION TITLE**:Registered Nurse**

**LOCATION OF VACANCY**:Muizenberg, Cape Town

Provide health care to residents at Evergreen. Provides skilled, professional, comprehensive nursing and person-centred care as prescribed by medical practitioners and in compliance with regulations of the South African Nursing Council, and the policies of Evergreen Health; taking accountability for their SANC scope of practice.

**MINIMUM CRITERIA**
- Grade 12
- Registration/Certificates:

- SANC Registered staff (RN)
- Previous experience within a hospital / Sub-Acute facility
- Experience in Geriatric Care will be advantageous

**REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES**
- Works directly under the supervision of a Unit Manager
- Work within the Nursing process to provide direct Nursing Care to assigned patients
- Direct patient care within his/her scope of practice
- Function as part of the team
- Complies with accepted professional standards and principles.
- Oral and written communications skills.
- Planning, organizational, leading and control skills.
- Provide the highest patient care
