DUTIES OF CONTRACTS MANAGER/SITE FOREMAN

1. Effective planning of teams, ensuring efficient use of Team’s time (to be fully productive) to complete works in the shortest time and ensure targets are reached.

2. Quality control of the physical works and installations on site (Inspections, report back to head office). Overseeing of outstanding work per project.

3. Attending site meetings as required and ensuring HHK is represented in a professional manner.

4. Conducting AMT’s, Inspections and testing’s, reporting back to head office. Reports must be accurate and presented in a neat, legible manner.

5. Conducting soil resistivity surveys and reporting details back to head office.

6. Control installation of materials and equipment to ensure compliance with drawings and site specifications.

7. On site supervision on various larger projects as required. This may require you to stay on site (out of town) until the project is complete.

8. Stock control - stock checks and strict control of materials, calculating quantities for re
- order purposes, checking & control of delivered materials, supervise the loading and off
- loading of the team’s bakkie stock. Oversee van stock materials issued, preferably on a weekly basis, and plan weekly materials required based on contracts. Submit goods requisitions to stores for contracts staff requirements. Submit monthly material used by contracting staff to Head Office by the 15th of each month.

10. Vehicle control, ensuring vehicles are kept in a neat, well maintained manner by all drivers.
Arranging for services and repairs as needed with head office. Checking of drivers log books and worksheets to ensure that all stops are recorded and full details of such are included thereon.

11. Control and maintenance of tools.

12. Administration and paperwork, relating to your position and related duties. All paperwork to be submitted timeously, in a neat and accurate manner.

13. Supervision of site staff - ensuring full utilization and productivity. Checking worksheets: timing, overtime, travelling to and from site etc.

14. Ensure compliance with all requirements on site regarding health, safety and environmental policies, manuals and procedures.

15. Report all incidents which have, or could result, in personal injury or environmental damage, as per site specific regulations.

16. Safety aspects as may be required from time to time.

17. Adhere to the Company's dress code on site, including safety clothing and equipment as per the MOS Act Safety Regulations and other Company safety regulations.

18. You are to perform any function required of you, provided you are physically capable of performing that task/ function and it is not in contravention of any law or safety act.

19. Once accepting a new contract, check price, material costing, timing, drawings, etc, and program contract procedure with client, site, etc.

20. Ensure site instructions are received for any extra work required on site prior to work being carried out.

21. Arrange for lightning protection design (SABS approved) to be prepared by Drawing
Office, if required.

22. Complete invoice and test certificate and as soon as job has been completed. Alternatively, prepare progress invoice, as required, before the 15th of the month.

23. Visit clients regularly to obtain new work.

24. Arrange morning meetings to discuss progress and problems on site with staff.

25. Ensure that site staff have been issued with correct safety equipment and that it is worn on site, including all other health and safety requirements as well as preparation of Health and

Safety Files.

26. Living out allowance - All monies advanced to you or your staff for living out must be accountable on your return. An expense sheet must be completed and handed into the office within two working days after your/their arrival back. Any monies still owed to the

Company you hereby authorise HHK to deduct same from your salary.

27. If you are authorised to carry an Autocard for petrol and oil only, this should be used solely for general business purposes. Should it be used for any unforeseen purchases which are not for business purposes, you hereby authorise HHK to deduct same from your salary.

Petrol slips and any documentation to be handed in on a daily basis. If vehicle is filled with petrol on a Friday and the following Monday, this purchase will be assumed to be for personal use and deducted from your salary - unless weekend work was agreed with

Management in advance. Similarly, purchases made on public holidays and during annual leave entitlement are for personal use and will be deducted from your salary. The Company vehicle should be used with care and within legal speed limits. Penalties will be incurred and deducted from your salary for any unauthorized infringements.
