Barista/all Rounder

You will be responsible for the daily opening and closing of the Restaurant and Bar, based on your shift.

You will be responsible for Daily, Weekly, and Monthly stocktake as put forward by your Unit manager.

You will be responsible for accurate time keeping.

You will be required to maintain professional Client relations.

Correct processing of daily food and beverage orders from residents and guests.

You will be responsible for maintaining the levels of beverage stock in the bar fridges, and a par stock level of beverages in the storeroom/backup fridge.

Maintain a par stock level of coffee beans, tea’s and condiments.

You will be responsible for maintaining your workstation health and safety procedures.

You will be required to do a Bi-weekly deep cleaning of your workstation and equipment as per SOP’s put in place.

You will be responsible for communicating to your manager when you arrive at work and you will report to your manager before leaving, at the end of your shift.

You are required to wear your uniform on a daily basis provided by RCSC.(Laundry for uniforms will be taken care of by our housekeeping department).

You will be responsible for placing orders with your unit manager on a daily or weekly basis.

You will be required to step in and help your team (FOH & BOH) when required to ensure the operation runs smoothly at any given time.

Ensuring all equipment is charged and ready for the beginning of every shift.

Liaise with the kitchen on a daily basis about specials of the day, Set menu bookings, A La Carte menu changes, and item availability.

You are required to familiarize yourself with our menus and have product knowledge of food items that the kitchen creates.

You will be responsible for setting up and breaking down function setups on the Wytham Estate property when such is required.

If your services are needed at any 1 of our other properties you will be required to assist where needed.(The company will always do its best to provide you with enough time and assistance with transportation where needed).

You will be required to adhere to operational requirements such as earlier shift starting times and later shift ending times, all of which will be compensated for.

You will report directly to your line manager on a daily basis, you are to maintain professionalism and take active instruction from your line manager at any given time.

You are to complete tasks given to you by your line manager in a timeously manner.

You will be required to polish cutlery sets, crockery, glassware, and clean your restaurant tables for service.
