**PURPOSE**

In this role, you will handle the washing, hanging, steaming, repacking, and packaging of clothing items. Additionally, you will assist with managing returns by verifying stock quantities and checking for accuracy. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, efficiency, and teamwork to help maintain our quality standards and inventory accuracy.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Washing and Drying**: Operate and maintain washing and drying machines for clothing items, following company procedures to ensure quality and cleanliness.
- **Hanging and Steaming**: Prepare cleaned items by hanging and steaming to remove wrinkles, ensuring all products meet presentation standards.
- **Repacking and Labelling**: Repack items accurately after processing, printing, and attaching barcodes and labels for packaging.
- **Inventory and Returns**: Inspect and verify returned stock, checking quantities against records to ensure accurate inventory.
- **Quality Control**: Conduct quality checks on garments to ensure they meet the company's standards before and after washing.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of washing and steaming equipment to ensure smooth operation.
- **Assist with General Warehouse Duties**: Support other warehouse tasks as needed, including organising stock and maintaining a clean work area.

**Skills and Requirements**
- Previous experience in a warehouse or laundry facility is preferred.
- Ability to operate washing and steaming equipment (training provided).
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and barcode printing.
- Physical stamina to lift, hang, and move items as required.
