**Position**: CDP - Pastry
**Location**: Johannesburg, South Africa
**Salary**: R7,500 - R8,000 NEG

**Requirements**:
**Tertiary Education**: A relevant culinary qualification is essential.
**Passion for Pastry**: A love for pastry arts, with the drive to create high-quality desserts and baked goods.
**Experience**: Some experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role is preferred, ideally within a restaurant setting.
**Creativity**: Ability to assist in creating visually appealing and delicious desserts that will delight guests.
**Attention to Detail**: A keen eye for detail in both taste and presentation.
**Team Collaboration**: A team player who can work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Pastry Preparation**: Assist in preparing and presenting a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods to the restaurant’s high standards.
**Menu Support**: Work with the Head Pastry Chef to develop new pastry items and seasonal dessert menus.
**Quality Control**: Ensure consistency in taste and presentation, maintaining the restaurant’s reputation for excellence.
**Inventory Assistance**: Help manage ingredients, ensuring freshness and availability.
**Health & Safety**: Adhere to health and safety regulations, keeping a clean and organized work environment.
