**New Generation **is a private Business that offers private and school-based tutorial services to high-school learners. We operate with the aim of maximizing the potential of our learners while getting them ready for tertiary education.

This is a post on the **New Generation Private Tutoring Program**. The New Generation PTP is a schoolbased Tutorial Program for senior high-school grades that offers tutorial sessions for Maths, Physics, and Accounting on Weekends to high-schools around Johannesburg.

- _**We're looking for Quality, Enthusiastic, Critical and Responsible Current/Former Wits University Student to work for our organization to TUTOR ACCOUNTING to high-school grade 10-12 learners**_ —

**Responsibilities**:
▪ Accessing the progress of learners under their care.

▪ Prepare and follow lesson plans.

▪ Preparing tests, monitoring and marking scripts.

▪ Receiving complaints from parents and channelling it to the appropriate quarters.

▪ Ensuring that learners abide by the rules and regulations of the organization.

▪ Handling any other duties as assigned by the coordinator.

**Skills**:
▪ Must be able to effectively teach.

▪ Must be able to handle a group of students, while allowing a sense of freedom to be asked questions.

▪ Must be able Imaginative and Fun: be able to create a fun, energetic, learning environment. Have

the ability to use the learner's imagination to develop examples.

▪ Must be Responsible: we don't compromise when it comes to the education of our learners.

▪ Must be a Practical, a Critical and Multi-Perspective individual: be able to think out of the box.

▪ _**Time Management, Work Ethic and keeping a Good Overall Image, are all basics of a tutor.**_

**Experience**:
Tutoring/Teaching experience - A MUST

**Education**:
▪ Completed Matric With a Distinction in Accounting.

▪ Currently Enrolled or Completed Undergrad/Postgrad studies in the field of:

- Education
- Accounting/Finance

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 8 months
Part-time hours: 3 - 5.5 per week

**Salary**: From R4,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
