**The IIE Varsity College, Sandton Campus has a vacancy for a Lecturer in Programming **(School of IT) in any of the following**:

- Java
- C Sharp (C#)-Introduction and Advanced
- Android (Kotlin)
- HTML (& CSS)
- JavaScript / React / Angular
- MEAN Stack(MongoDB, Express, Angular and Node)
- Cloud Development
- Software Engineering

**Key Performance Areas**
- Lecturing in the form of either face-to-face sessions with students and/or online sessions;
- Invigilation of formative assessment as may be required;
- Diligent preparation for lectures, including preparation of in-class activities;
- Marking and providing constructive feedback to students on all assessments;

- Open to the further development of teaching practice
- Demonstrate an ability to manage work and self proactively
- Programming/Software Development

**Minimum Education Requirements**:

- An Honours degree or higher in Computer Science/Information Technology

Alternatively:

- An Honours degree or higher in similarly related fields with Programming

**Minimum Work Experience Requirements**:

- Lecturing experience in programming (advantageous)
- Relevant industry experience in your language or technology of speciality is essential
- Lecturing or teaching experience within a Tertiary environment is (advantageous)

**Working Conditions**:

- Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role
