**Key Responsibilities**:
**Test Planning**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand system requirements and objectives.
- Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Define testing scope, objectives, and success criteria.

**Test Execution**:

- Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing as needed.
- Execute test cases and record test results, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
- Identify, document, and prioritize defects, issues, or anomalies.
- Verify defect fixes and retest as necessary.

**Test Environment Setup**:

- Set up and configure test environments to mimic production conditions.
- Ensure test data availability and integrity.
- Collaborate with system administrators and infrastructure teams.

**Collaboration**:

- Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in design and code reviews to identify potential issues early.
- Provide input on design and architecture for testability.

**Documentation**:

- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Generate test summary reports and communicate results to relevant parties.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging testing technologies.
- Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance the testing process.
- Contribute to a culture of quality assurance within the organization.

**Qualifications**:

- **Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) and 3+ years’ experienc**e
- Proven experience in system testing, validation, or quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
- Familiarity with agile and DevOps methodologies.
- **Knowledge of version control systems and issue tracking tools (e.g., Git, JIRA).**:

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R25,000.00 - R40,000.00 per month
