Commercial Underwriter

Commercial Underwriter with minimum 5 years’ short term insurance underwriting experience (new and existing business), required to join this leading Short Term Insurance Administrator and FSP based in Claremont, Cape Town. Here we grow again

**Minimum requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years’ commercial underwriting experience required
- All Fit and Proper requirements in terms of the FAIS act required
- NQF level 4: Short term insurance essential
- RE5 essential
- Full working knowledge of CIMS/Cardinal advantageous
- DOFA confirmation as a commercial underwriter required
- Previous experience in Insurance Binder Processes required

**Responsibilities**:

- New Business
- Renewals
- Broker liaison and relationship building/management
- Diary management
- Adhere to SLA’s
