ThoroughTec is looking for a junior panel wireman to join our manufacturing team. The incumbent will be required to successfully perform all assembly and wiring tasks on ThoroughTec’s various products.

This is a 6-month contract, with an option of becoming permanent..

**Location**: Durban, South Africa
**Remuneration**: Market-related
**Education**: Grade 12 / N3
**Experience Level**: Junior

**Responsibilities and Core Duties**:

- Assembly and wiring of small and large panels, and simulator cab consoles
- Looming connections into panels
- Dressing up wires
- Wiring of relays, test blocks, terminals, etc.
- Low voltage electrical work
- My be required to travel occasionally for on site work

**Skills, Qualifications and Experience**:

- Minimum education level: Grade 12 /N3
- Minimum 2 years of panel wiring experience
- Must be able to read, interpret and understand mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Ability to work independently on tasks, as well as part of a team
- Honest, punctual and reliable
- A technical or mechanical qualification/certification will be advantageous but not a requirement
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
