**JOB PURPOSE**

**JOB OBJECTIVES**

**Identify solution requirements to meet business needs**
- Building & maintaining business functional relationships through effective engagement with key stakeholders and users
- Eliciting & clarifying business requirements
- Managing requirement demand including the prioritisation of identified needs
- Being the custodian of solution business value cases

**Determine fit for purpose solutions**
- Translate business requirements into solution requirements
- Work with business teams to understand operational, tactical and strategic solution options
- Identify solutions to meet business requirements that satisfy agreed cost, quality and priority constraints
- Plan the delivery of solutions considering all implementation aspects (development, testing, integration, data migration, security, change management, training, and roll out/cutover)

**Develop and implement solutions**
- Configure/develop required solution components
- Effectively testing the solution (unit, functional, and integrated testing, as well as facilitating UAT)
- Managing/Working with third party solution providers to deliver required solutions and solution components
- Ensuring solution meets business requirements

**Ensure ongoing operational support**
- Provide support for implemented solutions (including incident management, enhancement delivery)
- Ensure positive user adoption
- Managing third party solution providers
- Identify recurring solutions issues/bottlenecks and manage the appropriate resulting problem resolution

**Managing IT Systems**
- Responsible for testing new modules and upgrade Software as required and ensuring the system quality is consistently maintained
- Managing solution platform and landscape (including solution maintenance, patching, upgrades, and environment management)
- Responsible for change control of solution changes (including the release process and validation of changes)

**Monitoring systems**
- Determining and monitoring key system operations measures
- Ensuring solution operations and process measures are within control limits
- Guiding and supporting users where functional/operational processes require improvement
- Reporting irregularities in the operation and/or performance of the solution

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

**Qualifications**
- NQF 7 qualification in IT

**Knowledge**
- Microsoft D365 CE/CRM module
- System analysis and development (including Agile and Project management)
- Azure
- ITIL (IT operational Processes)
- System Integration (API)
- Understanding of business processes (retail, wholesale, sales, marketing, CRM)

**Experience**
- Solutions Analyst / D365 Consultant 3 to 5 years
- Experience with CRM/ sales/ marketing modules essential
- Experience with Azure and Microsoft LCS

Maintain required system and solution artefacts (including system, testing, training, user guide, configuration, and architecture documentation)

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a solutions analyst, business analyst, or in a similar role.
- Proven expertise in the development and implementation of complex end-to-end business solutions in agile environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and evaluate business requirements, conduct gap analysis, and recommend optimal solutions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and business processes.
- Familiarity with project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or Oracle is a plus.
