Key Requirements:

- Educational Background: You hold a diploma or degree in photography, cinematography, or a related field.
- Industry Experience: With three to five years of relevant industry experience, you're well-versed in the world of video editing.
- Editing Software Proficiency: Proven experience in using editing software, such as Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and Audition, is essential to excel in this role.
- Creative Mindset: Your creative mindset and storytelling skills set you apart as a video editing maestro.
- Work Ethic: Impeccable work ethic and a positive attitude are your trademarks.
- Time Management: Strong time management and organizational skills are your allies in meeting deadlines.

- On-Site Commitment: Availability to work full time and on-site at Babylonstoren in Simondium is a must (working remotely is not an option).

- Transport: Having your own transport is essential for this role.

Your Responsibilities:

- Masterful Editing: You'll edit video footage and audio using post-production software, expertly crafting engaging stories.
- Collaborative Spirit: Working closely with the videographer, you'll bring to life the videos according to a guide or brief.
- Storytelling: Your talent lies in assembling video footage into cohesive stories that captivate the audience.
- Creative Input: Collaborating on storyboards and concepts with the creative team to elevate projects to new heights.
- Enhancing Visuals: You'll create motion graphics to enhance videos, adding effects, graphics, dialogues, and music to improve appeal.
- Camera Skills: Proficiency with camera equipment is a plus, as you may occasionally film videos in the studio or on location.
- Industry Awareness: Staying updated with the latest editing and filming trends, as well as industry best practices, will be crucial in maximizing efficiency.
- Tech Savvy: You'll take ownership of editing equipment and software, ensuring they are well-maintained and calibrated for optimal performance.
