**ICT MANAGER**

**CENTRAL OFFICE**

(R491 403- R578 841 plus benefits per annum)

***This is a permanent College Council position.

Ensuring high degree of ICT compliance in respect of:

- ICT Governance: development and implementation of policy and management of SLA’s (vendor performance)
- Service continuity
- Programme change management
- User access management (ensure access to FBC network and software is controlled at appropriate levels of authorisation)
- Security management (antivirus, firewalls and patches)
- Relevant legislation (e.g. Protection of Personal Information Act etc.)

**Minimum Requirements**:
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Recognised National Diploma (NQF 6) in Information Technology or related qualification
- 3-5 years’ working experience in IT environment
- 3-5 years’ supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s licence

**RECOMMENDATIONS**
- Degree in Information Technology
- 3 years management experience in IT environment
- Understanding of the TVET sector
- CCNA, N+ and or MCSE/MCITP (state any IT related certification)
- Security +, ITIL
- COBIT 5 certification

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensuring high degree of ICT compliance in respect of:

- ICT Governance: development and implementation of policy and management of SLA’s (vendor performance)
- Service continuity
- Programme change management
- User access management (ensure access to FBC network and software is controlled at appropriate levels of authorisation)
- Security management (antivirus, firewalls and patches)
- Relevant legislation (e.g. Protection of Personal Information Act etc.)
- Management of maintenance and upgrading of ICT infrastructure, networks and software.
- Departmental budgeting
- Management of ICT CAPEX projects
- Manage the backup and maintenance of servers, security and integrity of FBC data and software
- Troubleshooting, resolving and documenting all ICT related issues.
- Managing planning and implementation of ICT structures, training and staff facilitation
- Keeping FBC abreast of the latest ICT trends
- Leading innovation in ICT focused teaching practice
- Manage team of ICT technicians on all FBC sites
- Managing all VOIP and telecommunications at all FBC sites
