Are you passionate about upholding academic excellence and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards within a recognized Institution of Higher Learning? We are seeking a dynamic individual to assume the role of Head of Faculty for our Education department at Woodmead College.

As the Head of Faculty - Education, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the academic integrity of our programs and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Your expertise will contribute to the advancement of our educational offerings and support the growth of both our students and faculty members.

Qualifications and Experience:
A Post Graduate Degree is essential
A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in higher education or relevant senior roles
Accreditation knowledge under the Higher Education Act, SAQA Registration, South African Council for Educators/Private Providers/Publishers
Proficiency in research, assessment strategies, online learning platforms, and Learner management systems

**Responsibilities**:
Your role will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities, including:
Collaborating with external institutions as needed
Ensuring the effective implementation, maintenance, and assessment of systems, policies, and procedures
Chairing Advisory Committee meetings in accordance with guidelines
Assisting the Dean in finalizing HEQC (CHE) programs
Overseeing the marking and moderation of assignments and exam papers
Ensuring compliance with HEQC (CHE) regulations
Engaging with industry stakeholders to enhance program promotion
Coordinating program development and reviews
Managing the Faculty budget and associated financial aspects
Orchestrating staff development and training initiatives
Establishing and nurturing student support mechanisms
Assisting the Dean on an as-needed basis
Organizing and participating in meetings and workshops
Committing to continuous self-development through various training opportunities
Undertaking ad-hoc duties as required to contribute to the Faculty's success

**Salary**: R40,000.00 - R50,000.00 per month
