Laastedrif Agri (Pty) Ltd., is an established commercial agricultural enterprise, specialising in the primary production of fresh fruit and vegetable produce. Laastedrif Agri (Pty) Ltd. serves a range of local supermarkets as well as international markets. Our client has a vacancy available for a Technical Manager to join their team, based in Ceres.

**Essential qualifications, skills, and experience**:

- Tertiary qualification in Food Safety or related discipline;
- Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in a similar role in a fresh produce packaging facility;
- Knowledge of food safety and related protocols, as well as practical implementation of, among others: BRC/HACCP/GlobalGAP and related requirements;
- Ability to interpret microbiological tests & results and making recommendations;
- Ability to practically conduct internal audits;
- Above average MS Excel skills;
- Experience in the operation of retorts and boilers will be advantageous.
