Sports Administrator and Phys Ed Teacher

An opportunity exists for an exceptional **Sports Administrator/ Phys Ed Teacher** to join the school **on 1 May 2023 or sooner**.**

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Relevant diploma/degree
- At least 2 years’ experience in Sports Administration
- At least 2 years’ of physical education teaching experience
- Ability to swim
- SACE Registration

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Teaching physical education and officiating sports matches
- Responsible for overall co-ordination and communication of sporting events, including the projection of termly transport requirements and tracking of expenditure
- Administration and arranging of annual sporting awards
- Overseeing sport facilities and equipment maintenance requirements
- A highly organised person who enjoys the challenges of fixture and timetable co-ordination
- Knowledge of Primary School Sporting Codes
- Capable of working under pressure, can prioritise and schedule workflows
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to coach and officiate a variety of sports and the capacity to sustain new practices
- A commitment to ongoing personal development and a future-orientated approach
- An energetic and inspirational approach to boys’ learning and motivation
- A values-based approach to the care and wellbeing of boys
