An opportunity exists within our fast paced and multifaceted organization, for a versatile and confident IT Manager with lots of tenacity and the ability to develop good working relationships with internal and external clients.

**Key Performance Areas include the following**:

- Managing all members of the IT department and implementing the required processes and procedures, to ensure that all incidents are addressed in a timely fashion and in line with business expectations and priorities
- Managing all 3 rd party contractors and service providers, ensuring that the highest levels of service and quality is received and maintained
- Providing regular feedback to the business on the status of incidents and expediting the resolution of those requiring immediate priority
- Assuring that all IT activities are performed within the bounds of any and all applicable laws, regulations and business rules
- Evaluating technology risks in order to refine the disaster recovery plan, as well as all backup procedures and policies
- Performing regular reviews of the network, in order to ensure maximum up time and identifying opportunities for improvement and rationalization
- Regularly reviewing network security and identifying risks and plans for improvement across the technology landscape
- Ensuring that all technology assets are appropriately tracked, monitoring and maintained within an asset register
- Working closely with the Chief Information Officer, in order to plan and prioritize the roll out of projects, based on defined business goals
- Managing the implementation and roll out of projects, including the utilization and performance of IT dependent resources
- Managing the IT budget, in order to ensure that all operational IT costs, expenses and investments are appropriately managed

**Minimum Requirements**
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a multi site Head of IT Support/IT Management role
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems and telephony
- Firm understanding of IT infrastructure and IT operational best practices
