Head Bartender/mixologist

**elgr** is a modern, casual and multi-cultural dining experience. The vision is fine food, great wine and inspiring cocktails, all served in a relaxed environment.

**elgr** restaurant is looking for a fun, energetic and enthusiastic Bartender. We are looking to put together a strong team where everyone is involved in creating handcrafted food utilising the best quality produce and products.

**Tasks**
- Preparing and Serving high quality cocktails and drinks
- Executing bar techniques at the highest level
- Being responsible for health and safety
- Being responsible for hygiene practices in the bar
- Ensuring drink quality and excellent standards are maintained for all drinks created
- Assisting with determining bar inventory needs, stocking and ordering
- Ensuring the bar meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines
- Ensuring the quality of all stock that arrives to the restaurant
- Teaching those who work under and next to you

**Qualities needed for this job**
- Have a “nothing is impossible” attitude
- Be precise, with “attention to detail” skills
- Have excellent skills in all basic bar techniques
- Have a passion for handcrafted drinks and a good understanding of what it takes to produce this.
- Be able to work fast under pressure
- Being a team player

**Requirements**:

- 3 years minimum experience as a bartending
- Fluent in English
- Contactable references
- Waiting experience is a bonus

**Working hours**

The working hours are 11.00AM - 24.00PM Tuesday-Saturday
