**Responsibilities**
- Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with South African tax laws and regulations.
- Prepare and review tax returns, including individual, corporate, and other relevant tax filings.
- Manage tax debt resolution processes, including handling objections, compromises, deferments, and appeals on behalf of clients.
- Provide expert advice on tax debt management strategies to minimize liabilities and achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documents for tax compliance and debt resolution.
- Assist clients in responding to tax queries and audits from regulatory authorities, with a focus on debt-related matters.
- Stay updated on changes in South African tax laws and regulations, particularly those related to tax debt, and communicate these changes to clients and internal teams.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of tax planning initiatives, especially those addressing tax debt challenges.
- Provide support and mentorship to junior members of the tax consulting team.
- Foster strong client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services based on client needs.
- Collaborate with other departments within the organization to provide integrated financial solutions.
- Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CA(SA), ACCA, or similar.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in tax consulting, with a focus on tax debt management.
- In-depth knowledge of South African tax laws and regulations, especially those related to tax debt resolution.
- Experience in handling tax objections, compromises, deferments, and appeals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in relevant tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
