**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in extracting valuable insights from various data sources, including financial models, sales models, and call centre data. You will be responsible for analysing complex data sets, identifying patterns and trends, and providing actionable recommendations to drive informed business decisions. Proficiency in data analysis, financial models, cloud technologies, and database management systems is essential for this role.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data analysis tasks.
- Extract, clean, transform, and analyse data from diverse sources, including financial models, sales models, and call centre data.
- Develop and maintain robust data models and databases to support analytical initiatives.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses and generate reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Implement data visualization techniques to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Utilize Azure and cloud technologies to manage and process large datasets efficiently.
- Work with MSSQL, MySQL, RDBMS, and NoSQL databases to extract and manipulate data.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data integrity, security, and optimal performance of data systems.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and advancements in data analytics, cloud technologies, and database management.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- Matric
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
- 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role is required, preferably in a finance or sales environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial models, sales models, and data analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in Azure and cloud technologies for data storage, processing, and analytics.
- Solid understanding of database management systems (RDBMS, NoSQL), including the likes of MSSQL, MySQL, CosmosDB, PostgreSQL.
- Advanced skills in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Experience in developing and maintaining data models and databases.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.
- Effective communication skills to present findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of call centre data and metrics would be a significant advantage.
