**Job Description**:

- The Employee Data Management Supervisor is responsible for employee master data changes and data maintenance. In addition to this, the incumbent will be responsible for closing out all queries that have been escalated from the ES Contact and Walk In Centres.

**KEY TASKS**
- Assist the Employee Data Management Administrator with the administration of employee data changes, data
- Maintenance and data verification for the Resourcing, Performance Management, Remuneration and Reward areas
- Develop data management experience through tasks and activities completed and on-the-job training obtained
- Accountable for coordinating and controlling of the accurate processing of all input documentation according to SLA measures within the available timeframe
- Accountable for coordinating and controlling of all the weekly and monthly checklists
- Ensure the adherence to Process and Service Standards for the effective governance within area of responsibility
- Interpret, communicate, coach & monitor relevant policies and procedures to staff
- Communicate the service delivery strategy and operating model to the team
- Identify risks and implement actions to mitigate/eliminate all risks
- Display effective resolution and coordination of issues and incidents with actions plans and quality controls in place

**Promote Best Practice & Knowledge Management**
- Actively pursues the exchange and preservation of information between operations and individuals to facilitate effective knowledge management according to organisational objectives.
- Builds relationships with others in the GSS by sharing business information and knowledge.

**Safety Health and Environment**
- Adherence to SHE programme goals and objectives.

**Service Management**
- Responsible for standardisation of delivery to the business by supporting the Service Management Framework.

**Business Partner and Customer Relationships**
- Manages stakeholders by adhering to service level agreements,
- Establishes and maintains Business Partner Relationships with the appropriate parties to facilitate the optimal functioning of the Functional Area.

- Provide leadership to, and develop the performance of, your team in line with the Group’s policies and
- systems (e.g. performance management) in order to achieve business goals. As part of this:

- Monitor the work of each team member and provide regular and useful feedback to them on how they are performing and
- Drive delivery of objectives holding team members to account for their work.
- Participate as an effective team member in working collaboratively with your leader, peers and relevant others (including from other teams) to achieve business goals
- Monitor the activities of your team which involve other teams and appropriately intervene to address any cross-team issues

**Financial**:

- Lead your team so that it operates in a cost-effective way, within the limits set by your manager
- Identify any opportunities for improved cost management and either address these, or raise them with your manager, as appropriate.

- Work within policies, processes and systems and advise your leader of any issues which impede your, or your team’s, performance.
- Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification

**EXPERIENCE**
- 3-5 years - Payroll experience
- 2-3 years - SAP experience
- 1-2 years’ experience in a payroll supervisory/management position
