**HEAD ELECTRICIAN**

**Location: NASREC, JHB**

**Job Type: Fixed Term Contract with a possibility of permanent employment based on performance.**

**Salary will be discussed in the interview and is based on experience.**

**Requirements**:

- **Grade 12 with relevant qualification**:

- **Must be Trade Tested - Red Seal**:

- **3 years relevant experience in a related role within the food manufacturing environment**:

- **Proven experience as an Electrician in the food manufacturing or related industry.**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Set up, fix, and manage electrical systems, machinery, and equipment according to electrical codes and safety guidelines.**:

- **Perform scheduled maintenance tasks to uphold the effectiveness and durability of electrical systems.**:

- **Diagnose electrical problems using diagnostic tools and testing equipment.**:

- **Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, circuits, and machinery to detect potential hazards or faults.**:

- **Notify the Maintenance Manager or appropriate personnel about any electrical issues, safety risks, or concerns.**:

- **Adhere strictly to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations for a secure work environment.**:

- **Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes and standards.**:

- **Collaborate with maintenance colleagues, engineers, and production staff for smooth operations.**:

- **Act promptly during electrical emergencies or breakdowns to minimize downtime and safeguard personnel and equipment.
