**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the road construction site.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
- Lead and supervise the construction crew, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor the progress of construction activities and adjust schedules as needed.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of labor, equipment, and materials used on-site.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise during construction and implement solutions.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project management.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory role within road construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of road construction techniques, equipment, and materials.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and the ability to enforce them effectively.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and documents.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
