**We’re looking for a senior Human Resources professional to join our business leadership team.**

**What your role looks like**

Of all our company values at Yuppiechef, People and Team sit at the heart of what we do. We are looking for a strong and like-minded leader who will guide our People team in a period of growth, ensuring that our culture and people value chain supports and aligns with our business strategy. Reporting into our Managing Director and as a key member of our leadership team, this role is centered around connection, communication and development.

You will play a key role in our executive team and will be able to translate the business strategy into a practical HR strategy. You will lead a team of HR specialists as we attract, retain, develop and reward our teams in a fast-paced and inspirational environment. Your experience in people-centric environments will be valuable as you expand the ability of our brand to be loved by both customer and employee alike.

**Who you are**

You have built your career in industries and experiences that have positively shaped the way people look at their contributions to an organisation. You have a solid understanding of Human Resources (8 -10 years partnering at a management level) and have elevated that experience to include at least 3 years in a Senior Management role. You are astute in people centered strategy and development as well as execution thereof. You are a strong and empathetic leader who thrives when guiding others through change.

**What you will be responsible for**

As you lead the People team, you will be responsible for
- Being an active member of the senior leadership team, guiding business decision-making in support of the People strategy that you will develop
- Ensuring that our Talent Management and organisational design is optimally structured to ensure our people can work effectively and efficiently
- Guide our Talent team as we build the right teams for our business ensuring transformation and growth is in constant focus.
- Elevating our employee value proposition through innovative changes, allowing us to attract and retain key talent in our business.
- Act as a key business partner in the organisation, ensuring changes are researched, analysed and ultimately implemented in seamless ways.

**What experience and skills you need for the role**

- Ability to translate business goals into actionable people-centric process
- Utilising your robust organisational design and leadership skills
- Strong ability to influence and build positive, collaborative relationships
- Demonstrable skill in leading and inspiring teams
- Effectively acting as a coach to a HR team and other business partners
- Developing innovative approaches to enhance employee experience
- Thorough understanding of Labour Legislation and HR Operations
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Empirical knowledge of employee life-cycle strategies
- Degree in Human Resource Management/Industrial Psychology or other relevant degree
- Postgraduate, business-related degree would be advantageous

We are based at our Westlake headquarters and are primarily an in-office and in person team. We value the connections made in person and believe you can’t beat a face-to-face catch over a good cup of coffee.
