**Main purpose of the job**

Responsible for championing case management of GBV/VAC cases identified in the OVC Family Strengthening Program - psychosocial support/ PSS. Work with OVC implementing team, Health facilities, WBPHCOT’s, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure prioritized counselling and psychosocial services with referral for continuum support with DSD and other relevant structures within the community/ district. Advocate for justice to GBV and VAC cases whilst ensuring safety and stability of beneficiaries enrolled on OVC FSP CCM.

**Key performance areas**
- Lead GBV case identification working with OVC FSP implementing team.
- Establish good working relationships with district community structures required and necessary for care and support to identified GBV/ VAC cases.
- Support design, implementation and management of OVC beneficiary recruitment, referral, retention protocols and adherence strategies to PSS.
- Work in the first line support of GBV/ VAC identified cases by facilitation of psychosocial and counselling support.
- Facilitate bi-directional referrals to clinical and non
- clinical service providers.
- Responsible for case management of GBV/VAC cases identified in the program (psychosocial support)
- Facilitate referral and linkage to post violence care services, social services and child protection services.
- Oversee PEP, ART and PVC service referral and implementation.
- Capacitate OVC implementing team on LIVES training, to be able to identify cases and contribute to first line support of program beneficiaries.
- Liaise with TCC for enrolment and referral of beneficiaries.
- Participate in establishment of youth adherence clubs in the supported facilities to enhance retention in care.
- Participate in case discussion/ case conferencing with clinical site team for CALHIV who are failing treatment as needed.
- Document best practice and lessons learned from program implementation. Contribute to successful report writing and documenting of best practices.
- Support mental health screening and management support for beneficiaries, including liaising with external partners for case management referral to continuum of care services.
- Champion program campaigns on Child Protection matters, attend stakeholder meetings in for continuous support and successful implementation of OVC FS activities.

**Required minimum education, training, and technical support.**
- Bachelor’s degree in social work
- Counselling course

**Professional body registration**
- Registration with relevant statutory body: - SACSSP

**Minimum work experience**
- At least (3) years of experience of working in the areas of Social Services, HIV, TB.
- Good knowledge of comprehensive HIV treatment and care and Prevention services.
- Working on community-based programs

**Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities**
- Knowledge of HIV, TB and DREAMS and differentiated care programs.
- Knowledge of case management
- Knowledge of HIV treatment
- A relevant degree in social services/ health is desirable.
- Excellent time management skills
- Supervision and good group management skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage and resolve conflict.
- Facilitation skills and able to work independently.
- Report writing and interpersonal skills.
- Strong administrative and planning skills
