**SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITORS (X2) 36 MONTHS CONTRACT (RENEWABLE)**

**Minimum Requirements**
- Qualification in Internal Auditing (BCom/BTech in Internal Auditing/BCompt) (IAT and Postgraduate in IA will be an added advantage)
- 3 to 4 years’ experience as an internal auditor in the public sector (municipalities, public entities and departments).
- Must possess a Driver’s license and be able to drive independently.
- Must demonstrate understanding of business process risks and controls in financial, operational and compliance related business processes).
- Must have thorough knowledge of the internal audit process from planning to reporting
- Must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the IIA Standards and the IPPF
- Must demonstrate knowledge of the MFMA, PFMA, SCM Regulations, IFRS, etc.

**Key Performance**
**Areas: -**
- On-site project management.
- Active participation in the planning phase of the audit.
- Setting up and attending opening meetings to discuss APM with the client.
- Develop audit program
- Execution of the internal audit program.
- Compilation and review of the IA working papers.
- Drafting and review of internal audit findings.
- Assist in the preparation of IA reports
- Participate in the tabling of draft reports to management
- Business understanding (key point).
- Prepares status reports for submission to the Audit Supervisor.
- Attend Project Steering Committee Meeting on invitation
- Regular reporting to the Audit Supervisor.
