IT Graduate

Our client is currently searching for an eager IT graduate who seeking an opportunity to gain industry exposure.

The purpose of the role is to provide data by operating a computer, performing the required day to day operational processes using the various monitoring tools provided and procedures as well as ensuring all services and infrastructure meet the operational targets.
- **Responsibilities and work outputs**:_
- Maintaining operations by monitoring the performance of Infrastructure and Services across Group IT Operations for error and stoppage messages
- Observing peripheral equipment
- Entering commands to correct errors and stoppages
- Notifying supervisor for additional resources to ensure that service quality is adhered to
- Follow and perform the accurate escalation processes and communicate on the relevant incidents
- Collaborate and work with the infrastructure teams to deliver required service levels
- Investigate, diagnose, and take prescribed actions on all operational events, alarms, and incidents
- Document problems and actions by completing production logs
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Update the shift report with all major and outstanding issues
- Identify any fault with systems or services and escalate accordingly
- Maintain and produce required operational documentation
- Perform daily backups

- Grade 12/ Matric is essential
- Must have a relevant IT diploma

Please note that the position requires you to work shifts, and therefore you need to have your own reliable transport.

Pay: R5,500.00 per month
