**Entity and activity description**
In this position, the incumbent will be sorting, pre-checking and filling Industrial packaged gas products in line with work instructions, He/She will promote safe behavior and adhere to quality and safety standards whilst operating in the Filling Station.
**Missions and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for maintaining housekeeping in the facility - Monitor equipment and report malfunctions to the Supervisor
- Record daily filling operations on a Production Record sheet and maintaining adequate stock of gasses and test dates for cylinder repairs
- Adhere to food safety prerequisite programmes (PRPs), SOP's and the food safety management system to meet customer and product specifications of food grade gasses
- Ensure that scales, pressure gauges, infra-red thermometers are calibrated and verified
- Ensure empties are moved to empty platforms for filling, in pallets / baskets and the faulty cylinders to be investigated and sent to the repair station once pre-filling checks have been carried out
- Responsible for sorting cylinders according to correct gas types, filling of cylinders according to the appropriate gasses and are moved to the correct allocated area for loading
