Strategic Information Lead

**Job Advert Summary**:
**Purpose of the position**:
To provide technical assistance and support to the Provincial HAST directorate with the aim to strengthen capacity in the provision of sustainable QI implementation and monitoring. Support establishment of functional provincial and district operation phuthuma nerve centres. Participation in all OP and QI data discussions and activities and provide ongoing technical support. To support both the Department of Health and THC program staff in the supported sites with establishment and monitoring of OP activities.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Degree in Public Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Statistics or Health Information Sciences or related
- More than 5 years experience in the HIV AIDS and STI programme data as well as information management background.
- Good understanding of South African Department of Health system, including policies, management and health information systems and structures at National and Provincial levels.
- At least 3 years operational experience in District Health Information System (DHIS) and TIER.net and funder reporting experience (DATIM) is essential.
- Proficiency in English and another South African language
- Valid code 8 driver’s licence
- Clear criminal record
