We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Reinsurance Controller to join our team in the field of short-term insurance. As a Reinsurance Controller, your primary responsibility will be to manage and oversee the reinsurance operations within our organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of reinsurance agreements, claims processing, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage the overall reinsurance function for short-term insurance, including treaty and facultative reinsurance arrangements.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of reinsurance contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with underwriters to analyze risk exposures and determine appropriate reinsurance structures.
- Coordinate and negotiate reinsurance agreements, ensuring optimal terms and conditions for the company.
- Oversee the timely and accurate processing of reinsurance claims, including claim verification, settlement, and recovery.
- Conduct periodic reviews of reinsurance documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain strong relationships with reinsurers, brokers, and other external stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in reinsurance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams on reinsurance matters.
- Generate reports and analysis on reinsurance activities, presenting findings to management as required.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications in insurance or reinsurance would be advantageous.
- Have 6 years Short Term insurance and Reinsurance experience
- Proven experience in reinsurance operations within the short-term insurance industry.
- In-depth knowledge of reinsurance concepts, methodologies, and industry practices.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
