Are you a detail-driven, numbers-savvy professional planner with a passion for analysing sales, optimizing inventory and driving business success?

Main purpose of the job

Join our dynamic team as a Merchandise Planner. As a Merchandise Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our sales channels are stocked with the right products, in the right quantities, at the right time. You’ll collaborate closely with our buying team to analyse sales trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels, driving both customer satisfaction and business profitability.

Minimum requirements

Have a degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience), Bring 3+ years of experience in merchandise planning, Excel in data analysis, forecasting, and problem-solving, Are proficient in Excel, Business Intelligence tools, Planning tools and systems, Have experience in automating repetitive tasks, such as creating reports, running what-if scenarios, Have a keen eye for detail, coupled with strong organizational and time-management skills, Are an effective communicator who collaborates well across teams.Excellent excel skills, Strong business acumen and merchant thinking, Good organisational and interpersonal skills, Proven decision-making ability, Analytical Processes, Planning & Organising, Market Research and Analysis, Supplier Management

Main duties

Influencing and implementing the merchandise strategy, Work closely with the buying team to align inventory decisions with strategic objectives, Management of the range assortments and replenishment, Management of financial metrics & sales trends, developing promotional & range distribution, Communication and relationship management of key stakeholders such as, suppliers, buyer, operations, etc. Reporting on performance, initiatives, and action plans to senior management periodically.Reorder Management: managing orders taking into account container sizes, supplier information and stock and sales, Open to buy management across categories, sub categories and price points. Manage monthly flow of stock, Sales and otb forecasting
- pre-season and in-season, Working with purchasing and suppliers on ensuring smooth deliveries.
